Did/Do you like your schooldays?


When I was a six year old child I started to go to primary school in my town. As I have been quite clever child I liked my schooldays at this school. I loved them very much. My favourite subjects were Czech Language, Homeland Study, Physical Education and English. I have learned it since I was ten. At school there were a lot of good friends too so I have never felt lonely. So, these things I liked and what about the things I didn’t liked? I don’t remember a lot of such things. But sometimes I didn’t like my teacher. For the first three years everything was OK but the last two years at primary school were a little bit strange. Our teacher was bizarre and I didn’t like her. I still can’t forget one moment: When we were making pairs to go somewhere I got a slap on my head because I stood next to the lane. It was very painful and I was angry. If I were a teacher or a headmaster even I would never beat the children. It would be strictly forbidden. Beating is an old way to educate the children, I think it’s from prehistory. In my opinion the best school is my present school. I attend grammar school in [town]. It is a big clean building with a playground and a football pitch, with a computer classroom and – it’s the most important – with good and friendly girls, boys and teachers. I’m very glad to go there.
